FLEET

Every EMT and paramedic relies on well-maintained and fully-equipped vehicles to get them to their destination fast, and do their utmost good when they arrive. That’s why our vehicles receive our full attention in terms of maintenance and fitness for purpose.

Emergency vehicles

All our ambulances are regularly serviced, roadworthy and registered as official emergency medical services vehicles. Maponya 911 EMS has 58 ambulances including 13 state-of-the-art intensive care unit ambulances manned by our highly qualified personnel. We also have 10 rapid-response vehicles that are manned by ALS personnel.

Every vehicle is fully equipped in accordance with the requirements of the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF).

GPS tracking

All Maponya 911 EMS vehicles have a TomTom fleet tracking device and navigation system. Our ambulances can be individually tracked and accurately located by our call centre staff at any given moment. And a GPS system provides ambulance drivers with directions through the quickest and most reliable routes to reach the scene of the emergency or medical care facility as fast as possible.
